Hey there, I’m Maia! A wedding and engagement photographer based in Northwest Indiana, with a heart that’s always ready to wander. Whether it’s a golden cornfield sunset in Valpo, a cozy lakeside moment in Michigan City, or a far-flung European elopement, I’m here to tell your love story exactly as it is: soft, real, and deeply beautiful.
A little about me: I grew up in Elkhart, IN and Edwardsburg, MI, where I first fell in love with art in all its forms. Before I ever picked up a camera, I was painting, drawing, singing, and writing; creativity has always been the way I breathe. That same heart beats in my photography today. Every image I capture is another canvas, another lyric, another page in someone’s love story.
My approach is simple. I believe love looks best when it’s not posed to perfection, but felt without holding back. I blend a romantic, dreamy aesthetic with a natural, documentary soul. That means I’ll guide you gently into the light, then step back and let you laugh, cry, and steal kisses like no one’s watching. My images feel like poetry but the unscripted kind.
Born and raised in northern Indiana, I’ve learned to find magic in the quiet moments: the way the tall grass glows at golden hour, the stillness after a first look, the joy that spills out when you forget the camera is there. From the dunes of NWI to the cobblestone streets of Italy or the misty mountains of the Pacific Northwest, I’ll travel wherever your love takes us.
At home, I’m the lucky one. I have two gorgeous daughters and an amazing husband who remind me every single day what real love looks like. They’re my greatest muses, my biggest cheerleaders, and the reason I believe so deeply in capturing the honest, tender, joyful in-between moments, not just the big ones.
When I’m not behind the lens, you can probably find me with a coffee in hand, humming a melody, doodling somewhere cozy, or spending time with my family. I’m equal parts romantic and real and I can’t wait to capture the in-between moments that become your forever favorites.
